In a world of empty promises and fly by night companies, were the real deal.

As a writer and producer,  I have assembled a fully functional 48 track Digital Recording and MIDI (256 tracks) sequencing production environment (see the diagram below) that has been used on everything from Radio and Television production to artist and band releases. I can develop ideas from start to finish easily and professionally. Everything from MIDI sequences to live instruments can be recoded in the highest quality standards known (including acoustic drums). Everything is ready to go on demand. There is no extra setup or configuring necessary. Unlike most recording studios that require hours or even days of setup and preparation time, instant access is the premise behind my studio's design. It takes me only a few moments to go from an idea to the actual recording process because we have designed our facility in such a way that allows everything to stay setup and configured without all of the hassles associated with other studios.

If you have gear you want to trade for production, recording time or session work for your projects Contact me.

I have taken a unique approach to building this environment. As shown in the above diagram, I  separate the recording process into separate groups.

The centerpiece is the 16 track Yamaha AW-4416 Digital Recorder with built in Digital mixer. Its an incredible unit. The AW-4416 has automated mixing, high quality digital effects, and a built in CD Burner too. Its an awesome tool. Plus a large selection of processors (rack mount and plugins), instruments and effects are available. Virtually any effect desired is possible. A large selection of Shure, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, CAD, Rode, AKG and Electro Voice microphones are used for recording live sounds.

By synching the AW-4416 to a  PC Based Digital Recording and MIDI sequencing system, no less than 48 + tracks of digital audio and virtually unlimited MIDI sequencing tracks are available. This setup can produce songs, soundtracks for film & television and commercial based audio content too.

The MIDI section includes no less than 5 sources for sequenced drum sounds. Roland's best drum brains, an older Yamaha analog brain and also a huge library of .wav samples  produce a huge variety of high quality drum and percussion parts. I generally use electronic drums to build a good bed for a recording, and once the song has taken shape, replace them with live drums unless electronic sounds are also needed, or used exclusively. We also have thousands of keyboard and Synth sounds, including a Roland JV1000, Korg 05R/W, several Yamaha analog and digital brains in addition to a huge library of samples. All of the various MIDI instruments and sound sources stay plugged in and ready to go on demand. All of the MIDI instruments can be sequenced or performed live without having to reconfigure anything extensively.

From there we move to the Guitar/Bass group. We have 2 customized Tube heads, 1 Marshall JCM- 900 Model 4500 Duel Channel w/ Reverb 100 Watt Head, 1 solid state combo and an excellent Yamaha Bass Preamp. We also have a Boss GT-6B Bass amp modeler & multi-effects unit and a Digitech GNX2 guitar amp modeler and multi-effects unit.

The guitar/bass section stays configured and ready to go on a moments notice utilizing a mixture of miked and direct signals. A rack of processors, 2 pedal boards and some independent processors and devices are included. With 18 electric guitars, 2 acoustic guitars and a  5 string active bass, virtually any tone or timber is available for the recording process.

I have equipment that comes from many different time periods, new and old and am always on the look out for new pieces. After all, when is a studio ever finished?.

Rates

Recording Time is available on a limited basis. Contact me for more information. Rates are according to the demands of your project. Each situation is different and is treated accordingly. When you are ready to do a master quality recording contact us. If you are looking for a cheap demo studio, we are not your answer (unless you are looking to trade gear for time.. more gear ALWAYS GETS MY ATTENTION!!!!).

We have a huge drum set (30 + pieces and counting that is sub divided up into 15 different drum sets), a nice MIDI rig, a vast number of guitars, amps and processors available for you to use. You are of course welcome to bring your own MIDI instrument(s), guitar, bass, amplifier or processors.

Using the house drums is mandatory when recording with us. Because of the high quality control standards I learned in Nashville, we chose to keep our set permanently miked due to the extreme amount of time it takes to get the "perfect" drum sound. Changing drum sets would cost us as much as a week of production time, and because of the nature of our work it just isn't feasible. The benefit to you is getting a drum sound that is almost beyond belief. We are able to tailor this sound to the demands of the music and only the highest quality tones pass our quality standards. An awesome drum sound is at the heart of every outstanding recording and we know you will be pleased.

We specialize in quality audio production and can help you put together the recording that can change your career!
