As a writer, producer, and
musician who plays multiple instruments, I have amassed an
arsenal of musical equipment that allows me to pull just about every sound I hear in my head into
reality. This enables me to mimic the most popular sounds in yesterday's and
today's music, as well as create my own sound(s) and style. I have taken great care to select gear that will allow me to have
as diversified a selection of sonic tools as possible, by going through more
gadgets, gizmos, recorders, mixers, processors, mics, guitars, amps and
effects than I can count. As a guitarist I generally favor custom musical
instruments and equipment, or at the least, heavily modified ones in order to achieve the
level performance I insist on. I
don't follow trends or "what's hot" when I purchase any piece of
equipment. I let my ears be my guide when selecting gear, regardless of the
name, age or other factor. This means I have stuff that comes from many
different time periods, new and old.
